Nigeria as a "recessioned" country is now bedeviled with ponzi schemes springing up on daily basis. As @ThePonziGuy, I will be reviewing each of the ponzi schemes in Nigeria. The pros and cons of each but so today, I am starting with the most popular - MMM Nigeria.
MMM Nigeria started operation in Nigeria on November 15, 2015 and has a growing population of over 3million participants in Nigeria alone and about 200million across the world according to MMM's founder. MMM has a Russian origin because of its founder, Sergey Mavrodi who started MMM as a Joint-Stock Company in Russian in 1994 before series of events happened resulting in its collapse until when it was resuscitated in 2011 and spreading like wide fire and now in over 100 countries.
MMM Nigeria is an online donation exchange platform for people who need help and those willing to offer help in form of donations. The donations are rewarded in what they call Mavros (Mavro-NGN, Mavro-USD and Mavro-BTC).
MMM Nigeria has over 3 million participants and its website (mmmoffice.com) was ranked the 3rd most visited in Nigeria 2016 by Alexa.com.
An MMM Nigeria participant after registration, logs into his Personal Office (PO), fill his bank account details or bitcoin wallet address, then clicks on Provide Help (Deposit) to pledge how much he wants to donate and the system pairs him with the person(s) to pay. After 30days or less, the participant can request to Get Help (Withdraw). Details of how it works can be found on their website.
MMM Nigeria's acceptable currencies for donations are the Nigerian Naira and Bitcoin.
